The City of Leonard would like to share the news that an unannouced routine inpsection of our Leonard landfill facility near the old airstrip was performed on December 23, 2024 and everything was found to be in compliance. Thanks to everyone for following posted rules and regulations and their part it keeping this facility open for all in the community to utilize.
We would also like to let everyone know that the tree pile will be burned as soon as this weekend IF the winds are in our favor. As always, all precautions are being taken to ensure the smoke does not blow directly into town or toward anyone's residence.
