City clean-up is scheduled for May 8-25 for LEONARD CITY residents only. There will be roll offs by airport area like in the past. There will be a list of things that are not allowed placed in your garbage & sewer bill, on the roll offs, posted in C-store and Post Office.
Items specifically EXCLUDED are: tires, appliances, televisions, microwaves, computers, including monitors and printers, chemicals or chemical barrels, liquids in any form (example: paints, thinners, varnish, or solvents), lawn mowers including fuels or liquids, hazardous waste (NO used oil, batteries, freon, propane tanks or gas tanks), demolition material, metals, cement blocks, masonry bricks, or any other type of landscaping support.
May 12-16 - If you have branches or tree limbs you may place on boulevard, the city will pick up.
If you have garbage cans that are broke or in need of repair, call Sheila by May 7, to be placed on a list to get them replaced. We would like to get these taken care the week of May 12.
You may deposit grass clippings at the compost collection site at any time.
